Things worth doing
Selected contributions across education, justice, technology, governance and civil society, and some of the work that has mattered most to me.
Major contributions
Helping to establish Hammersmith Academy from an idea on paper to a new school in west London, working through sponsorship, governance, funding and the practical business of creating an institution intended to outlast its founders.
Helping to shape the WCIT Charity as a trustee from 2010 to 2016 and as Chair from 2019 to 2025, through stronger governance, more strategic grant-making, pro bono expertise and programmes that extended the social impact of technology across the charity sector.
Nurturing a unique AI learning exchange from its beginnings in two ambitious charity awards into a trusted national community of more than 80 charities and not-for-profits, exploring artificial intelligence together, learning openly and drawing on practical expertise.
Other charitable and voluntary service
Alongside the contributions explored above, I have undertaken a range of other trustee, governance and voluntary appointments spanning health, education, technology, grant-making and social inclusion.
