Dr Stefan Fafinski DL
Stefan Fafinski is a lawyer, technologist, author and public servant whose work spans justice, education, governance and civil society. He is an Independent Panel Chair with the Parole Board for England and Wales, a Deputy Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire, Chair of the Board of Trustees of Prior’s Court Foundation and the Inside Out Trust, and an independent member of the Community and Voluntary Service Honours Committee. He is a former Chair of the WCIT Charity and a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists.
Stefan began his career in technology before moving into law, completing a doctorate exploring technological risk and regulation. He has since combined public and voluntary service with writing and legal education, co-authoring a number of widely used law textbooks. His particular interests include leadership, governance, decision-making, technology and the importance of kindness in public life.
